Keep up to date with all the news happening in school at the moment.
For ‘One World Week’ we would like you to recreate the flag of your country that you are learning about this week, using things you have at home.
You could use food/toys/objects from around your house.
Maybe you could even make a flag of another world country too!
It's time for your latest challenge and this one is so good that even your teachers have had a go! We are challenging you to recreate the front cover of your favourite book. Time to get creative and use all things lying around your house (an umbrella, a frying pan, face paint, a cat?!) to recreate a book cover of your choice.
We had so much fun thinking about our favourite books and creating our pictures.
On Friday 8 May 2020 Britain will be commemorating the 75th anniversary of VE Day, when the guns fell silent at the end of WW2 in Europe.
Due to the coronavirus, most VE Day events and street parties have had to be cancelled or postponed but we still want you to be able to mark the occasion and honour the men and women of WW2. You can make your own special VE Day 75 ‘Great British Bunting’ to display in your window at home. You could use paper, cereal boxes, string, ribbon, sweet wrappers, felt pens, poster paint you have or whatever you can find. You can decorate your bunting with pictures of whatever inspires you, whether it’s those who fought on the frontline or worked hard on the Homefront, or whether it’s a celebration of enduring peace or your own personal hero.
Hang your bunting with pride over the weekend of Friday 8 May - Sunday 10 May. You can even have you own tea party celebration at home!
