  • Ducklings

Fri 27 Apr 2018 Miss Alford

The children (and adults!) at Chambersbury have really enjoyed watching the ducklings hatch and grow over the last eleven days.

The children in Reception and Nursery named the ducklings; Chocolate Chip, Bark, Spiky, Pinkie Pie and Sweetie! Reception wrote duckling diaries, did some observational drawings and got to hold the ducklings. The ducklings spent this week visiting every class in the school, inspiring lots of discussion and learning opportunities.

We were sad to say good bye today and know that they will have a lovely time running free on the farm in Norfolk.

  • St George's Day Celebrations

Fri 20 Apr 2018 Mr Guilder

On Friday 20th April as part of our St.George's Celebration, and as a focus on British Values, we had our annual uniform day at school. Mr Taylor interviewed children who attended different uniformed groups including Rainbows, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and Badgers. We heard about their badges and achievements as well as some of the other activities they get up to.
