Children in the Nursery learn through play and exploration. We ensure learning is fun and that children enjoy and are engaged in lots of opportunities, both inside and outside. We plan activities based on the seven areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage. The three prime areas are: Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal Social and Emotional development and the four specific areas are: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design.

Staff in Nursery are Miss Moss (Training teacher), Miss Wallis and Mrs Edes.

Important days:

Monday - Please hand in home learning

Thursday - PE session

Please can children have a pair of black shorts and a white t shirt (all named) in a bag on their peg.

Book change day

Friday - home learning sent out

Every Thursday one of the children will receive a show and tell slip asking them to bring something in to show and share with the class on a Friday. Please ensure that no toys are brought in to school on any other day than your child's show and tell session.

Any questions you have, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you for your support.
