Traditional Tales: Little Red Riding Hood
We have been learning about traditional tales. These are stories from a long time ago that have been told over and over again so there are many different versions. Traditional tales include stories like: The Three Little Pigs, The Billy Goats Gruff, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and Little Red Riding Hood.
We have been focusing on Little Red Riding Hood.
We started by thinking about the characters. What was Little Red like? Who might she meet? How would they be similar/different to the wolf from the original story?
We then thought about how we could change the setting. The original story is set in a wood so we changed this to a modern city to link with our topic of Great Britain - where we had looked at different British cities.
