Welcome to Year 1

Miss Powell

Miss Maidment and Miss Gardener

In English this term, we have been focusing our learning around 'The Great Fire of London.' Children have researched and recorded facts, ordered events, written recounts and written lists of instructions.

In maths we have been focusing our learning around counting, number recognition, addition, subtraction, time, money and measuring.

In Science, our topic has been linked to the Arctic.

In D&T we have been designing and constructing Tudor houses.

Keep checking back here to find out more about what we have been doing, what is coming up and to see examples of our work.

At the bottom of the page there are some links to some of the activities and games we use for learning in school.
