During this term we will learn all about how countries work together within different structures and organisations. We will learn about the UN and The Commonwealth and even get the chance to hold our own model Commonwealth Summit where we will solve some of the world's problems, all from the comfort of our classroom!
During this topic we will learn all about the Mayan culture including; religious beliefs, farming, the Mayan calendar and eventually the Spanish Conquest colonising the Aztec culture. We will learn about the history of chocolate and even get to make our own Mayan hot chocolate - I wonder how it compares with Dairy Milk hot chocolate?!
