  • Year 3 Tri Golf

Wed 27 Apr 2016 Mr Yoxall

Year 3 went to Cavendish School today to compete in the Dacorum School Sports Networks' Tri-Golf event.

This is the first time Year 3 have been out to compete this year so they were all very excited about going.  At the event Lilli from DSSN introduced the activities and then Year 3 had to score as many points as possible int he time they had.  There were 8 activities for them to score in.

We will not know the final result until it is published by DSSN so will have to keep our fingers crossed for now!  Our scorer seemed to think we had done very well though so we are keen to find out!

The below pictures are a few from the event so you can see what our pupils were doing!

  • Year 2 Sports Festival

Mon 18 Apr 2016 Mr Yoxall

Year 2 went to a sports fayre at Hemel Hempstead SportsSpace today.  This was not a competitive event.  It is organised to allow children the opportunity to take part in some different sports and activities.

These included using Crazy Catch rebounders to throw a ball against and try and catch, skittles, giant speed stacking, dancing and even aerobics!

Everyone had a fantastic time and everyone tried their very best at all the games they played.

"Thank you, that one was the best!" - Marcarius to the Dance Instructor

"That was so much fun!" - Amelie about the whole event!

Below are some pictures of the event.  (unfortunately due to the lighting within the venue these are not the best pictures but do show the fun the children had!)

"Pupils at Chambersbury Primary School receive a good quality of education. They know staff want them to do well." OFSTED, November 2022
