  • Time Capsules at Home

    Mon 27 Apr 2020

This week we wanted to find a way to capture what is going on in the world at the moment and create something that we can look back on in the years to come. We are living through history!

By creating a time capsule, you can show future generations (maybe even your own children or grandchildren!) what it was like to be a child at this time. Check out the links below for some ideas of what to include. We can't wait to see what you have included!

  • Annual Easter Egg Competition

    Mon 06 Apr 2020

It’s Easter time again so that can mean only one thing – us trying to fit as many egg puns as possible into a piece of writing (ok… two things).

We’re not yolking: it’s time for our annual Easter Egg Design Competition! That’s right, we’re not going to let something like staying home poach our traditions! You know the drill: hard boil your egg and then let your creativity flow… once you’re egg-static with your creation, crack on, take a picture and send it to teachers@chambersbury.herts.sch.uk with your child’s name and year group. We will be announcing our cracking winner on Friday 17th April with some egg-cellent prizes up for grabs.

** UPDATE - and the winners are...**

Thank you all for sending in your fantastic Easter egg designs! We were so impressed with your creativity and your tributes to the NHS. After looking at all the wonderful entries, we have decided on our winners and have sent an Easter egg to their homes (before any of the teachers could eat them!).

Our winners are: Mitchell, Leo, Morgan, Malika, Bayleigh, Anabelle and Jonah.

Well done to all those that sent in your creations and keep up all the hard work!
