Year 5 and 6 Football vs Holtsmere End

On Friday 5th of February we played an away match against Holtsmere End Junior School.  We were getting changed and all raring to go.  We sat down for a tactics talk.  It was then time to leave.  We got on the minibus and off we went.

Eventually we got to Holtsmere End and were ready to play the match.  The scores went a bit like this; 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 to Holtsmere!  Then it was half time.  Mr Yoxall had a team talk and we went back out for the second half.

Noo!  Disaster! An own goal by Kerri made it 4-1 to Holtsmere.  We worked hard and got two more goals to make it 4-3.  The full time whistle went.  Holtsmere had won.  We dragged ourselves sadly back to the minibus and went home.
