We have strived to develop a curriculum that is motivating and inspires our children in their learning. Our vision states how we wish to aspire all our children to make a difference so they can become assets to their community. This vision is the 'pin' of our curriculum. At Chambersbury, we have developed our curriculum to not only suit the needs of our children through primary school but to ensure they come away from the classroom with long term knowledge to achieve our vision.
The National Curriculum is delivered through half termly or 3 weekly blocks (depending on the subject). On this page you will find information about the whole school curriculum. To see the learning and topics your child is learning, click on the year group your child is in or visit their class page for more information.
For information on how specific subjects within the curriculum are being taught, please follow the links below. We are in the process of updating these to reflect our updated curriculum.
With same National Curriculum trips and activities the school may ask for parent contributions. However, these are always voluntary and the school would never stop a child from attending due to monetary reasons. A child has a right to access every part of the National Curriculum (including swimming lessons) therefore only voluntary (not compulsory) contributions may be asked for.
