During Art Week, the Year 4s learnt about Katsushima Hokusai. We learned the following art techniques:
- sketching,
- mixing paint with black or white to create tones and shades.
We used Hokusai's The Great Wave Off Kanagawa as our inspiration to create our own waves. We used cool colours for the wave and warm colours for the background.
