Our teacher is Mrs Stevens. Our teaching assistants are Mr Timberlake and Miss Hill.
PE:From March our usual PE days have changed to a MONDAY and THURSDAY. Please be aware this may change to due to the weather or commitments round school so full is needed all week - PE kits will go home every Friday to be washed but must come back on a Monday.
Reading:Children will be able to choose two books to bring home, one from the reading scheme and one from the school library. Please read with your child 5 days a week and sign in their record. Children can read a mixture of their school books and books from home but please record this in their books, to help teachers see what the children are enjoying reading. BOOK CHANGE: We aim to change library books on Monday and reading scheme books on a Monday and Thursday, but please bear with us.
Homework:Homework will set on google classrooms on a Friday and checked from Tuesday. There will be one 15 min maths task (linked to the week's learning or key skills), 10 spellings to practise in handwriting books, and times tables homework. Please keep your homework books at home to do any working out/spelling and handwriting practise - if you fill them up please let us know and we can sort out a new one.
Keep checking back to find out more about what we have been getting up to, and what is coming up.
If you are a new parent, considering our school for your child in September 2021, please contact Mrs Norton in our school office.
We're back on the 7th June and term ends on Tuesday 20th July!
