Hello Year 3!

We will be keeping our Year 3 class page up to date with learning activities and ideas specifically for this age group. There are links to key Maths and English learning as well as other curriculum activities below. At the bottom of this page, there are lots of websites and activities to support your learning at home. Keep scrolling to see everything available to Year 3!

What else can we do?

School Learning: Each week we also post the learning activities that children of key workers have been completing in school. There is something for all age groups here. Please click here to see all the activities.

School Challenge: Each week we share a fun activity for the whole school community to take part in.  We love seeing your pictures, it reminds us that we're still together. Have you looked here for our whole school challenges? There are other fun links here too - for stories, letters from your teachers and more...

Great Year 3 Resources

Welcome to Year 3!

Our favourite links - play games and visit cool websites.

Remember: these are web sites we don't control, so be sensible. If you ever see something that worries you make sure to tell an adult.

In Year 3 our teacher is called  Miss Savage. We also have Mrs Berridge, Mrs Stephens and Miss Barden who support us with our learning.

  • PE lessons are on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Friday, our PE kits should be brought in on Monday and kept at school all week. Please make sure your child has their outdoor PE kit with them every day as we aim to go outside for PE at least once per week.
  • Homework is set every other Friday and is due in on Wednesday. Spelling is sent home every Friday and should be brought back the following Thursday for more spellings to be put in.
  • We change reading books on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but we can read any of our books at home too. We should read at least five times during the school week and once over the weekend. The record will be seen by an adult everyday.
  • If you would like your child to have a snack at break time, please make sure your child brings one with them to school. The snack should be healthy, for example, without chocolate chips.
