In Reception Class our teacher is Miss Alford and our teaching assistants are Miss Wallis and

Mrs Dancer.

On this page you will find lots of information about what the children have been learning and upcoming events.

You will also be able to view pictures and videos of your children throughout their first year at school!

 Some useful Information:

• PE- The Reception PE days are Tuesday and Friday. Please ensure that your child's full PE kit (including trainers) is in school everyday as the day may change due to weather etc. PE will be outdoors so please ensure your child has jogging bottoms for colder weather. PE kits will be sent home on a Friday and must be returned to school on Monday. Please can we have trainers in school everyday for children to take part in our #Runtogether sessions.
• Reading - Children are expected to share a book with an adult 5 times a week. Book change will be on Thursday.  Please ensure that the reading record is signed to show that you have read with your child, we will then be able issue some new books.
• Homework - will be set via Evidence Me on a Friday and will need to be completed by Tuesday. You will receive a fun activity to do together, based on the learning that we have done in class that week. In addition we will give you an overview of the learning that will take place in the the following week.
