World Book Day (A week later than planned!)
After a snow disrupted book week, Friday 9th May finally saw our World Book Day events taking place. Children and Staff from across the school came to school in their PJs, and enjoyed a number of activities including themed maths lessons, story making and - of course - reading!
We also had a special celebration assembly led by Unicorn Alford where classes shared what they had been doing during book week. Lower school shared some of their favourite stories, many of which were bear themed. Year 3 and 4 children shared dream diaries inspired by the BFG. Year 5 shared scary poetry and Year 6 shared some of the suspense narratives they have written.
