On Friday 10th July Chambersbury Primary School had a special Victorian Day and celebrated our longest reigning monarch's official birthday.
Children came in to find strict teachers, different layouts to classrooms and new expectations! Across the school pupils experienced Victorian arithmetic and English lessons and well as a traditional assembly. They were then treated to a carousel of Victorian outside games.
In the afternoon the whole school had an amazing time celebrating the Queen's 90th Birthday with a tea party and special assembly beamed live from Windsor Castle. Children brought in an astounding assortment of cakes as well as designing hats and making decorations.
