Story Telling Week

30th Jan - 6th February 2021

This year we celebrated National Storytelling Week slightly differently as many of us are learning from home. Throughout the week we had book and story themed tasks to do at home, including 'TAKE A BREAK WEDNESDAY' where we encouraged everyone to take a break from screens and complete as many 'Book Bingo' tasks as they could. We also had special story telling zoom sessions all week starting with Mrs Stevens reading 'Each Peach Pear Plum' on Monday, then Ms Cooper with a fun, French retelling of Goldilocks and the 3 bears (Boucles d’or et les Trois Ours) on Tuesday, Miss Alford sharing her version of the 3 Billy Goat's Gruff (complete with masks) and Mrs Chapman sharing some of 'World's Worst Teachers' on Wednesday and finally on Thursday Miss Cahill sharing some poems from 'An Emotional Menagerie'.

We had a great week and are looking forward to celebrating World Book Day later this term.
