Safer Internet Day

This year we had 3 core themes for Safer Internet Day, which we explored in different ways across the school.

Digital Citizenship, Digital Consent and Balancing Screen Time

We took some time to think about what the internet meant to us and how we use it. As well as this we thought about how we should behave online to keep ourselves and others safe, and create positive experiences online. We also thought about what information should be shared online and what to do if we were worried.

Importantly, because of how much we are having to do virtually at the minute, we also looked at screen time, thinking about what screens we use every day, what signs our bodies and the world around us give us when we need a break, and how we can manage and balance using screens.

We even created some brilliant work to help make sure everyone knows how to look after themselves online.

We're back on the 7th June and term ends on Tuesday 20th July!
