Harvest Festival

Chambersbury Primary School celebrated harvest with a collection for local charity DENS and a special harvest assembly with the whole Chambersbury family.

Children donated hundreds of items to help people who are struggling with homelessness in our local community. They thought carefully about bringing in non-perishable goods, with over 650 items being provided. Year 2 & 4 especially donated an impressive amount!

During our assembly children from across the school performed a number of songs, and classes shared what they have been learning about harvest during lessons. There were stories, rhymes, poetry and some impressive artwork. Mr Taylor shared about how important Harvest is and how the food we brought in would be used.
