In Geography, Year 5 have been exploring what it is like to live near the Alps. We began by learning about the eight countries that the Alps stretch across and identifying the physical and human features found in the region. We researched Innsbruck, Austria, comparing its landscape, climate, and leisure to our own local area. We conducted surveys across the school to find out which parts of the local area people use most and what improvements they would like to see.
