In Year 4, our teachers are Miss Cope and Miss Schofield. We are supported in our learning by Mrs Chibba.

Information about our week:

PE Lessons- PE lessons for Year 4 take place every Thursday and Friday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their full School PE kit on these days. If your child wears earrings, they must be able to remove them independently, or please ensure they are taken out before school.

Reading- Reading records will be checked every Monday and Wednesday.
Children in Year 4 are expected to read at least five times per week. Books will be changed on the same days.
If your child finishes their school reading book, they are encouraged to read books from home. These can also be recorded in their reading record with a short comment.

Homework- Homework is set every Friday via Mathletics and Spelling Shed.
Children will be assigned a short Maths task and a Spelling task, linked to current learning or to reinforce previously taught concepts.
In addition, children are expected to log in to Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) at least three times per week, aiming for a total of 30 minutes per week.

Times Tables Test- By the end of Year 4, children are expected to know all of their times tables up to 12 × 12 fluently.
