Pupils are expected to attend school for 190 days each academic year. This leaves 175 days in which families can book holidays, weddings, family trips and other events. Please check the school term dates carefully to minimise any term times absence.

Requests for term time absence must be submitted in writing to the Headteacher. If permission for an absence is not granted, then the absence is recorded in the school’s register as unauthorised. Please note that the school registers are monitored regularly by the school’s Attendance Support Officer at HCC.
