Yr 5/6 Football Match

Year 5 and 6 played football against Bovingdon today and came out as winners after a hard fought game.

Chambersbury started well by passing the ball around a lot but it was Bovingdon who scored first despite goalkeeper Raman's best efforts!

This gave Chambersbury a boost and it wasn't long before we were leading 3-1.  Half time saw some team changes to get everyone on the pitch but disaster happened!  Bovingdon scored again to bring it back to 3-2.  This resulted in some changes again from Mr Yoxall and we started scoring again.

The final score was 5-2 to Chambersbury.  Mr Walker was very impressed with how the team played and how well they were passing the ball to create opportunities to score.

Well done everyone!

Please remember the Bank Holiday on Monday 2nd May (so the school is closed) and this half term ends on Thursday 26th May at 3:15pm.
