On Wednesday 2nd November we were visited by staff from the Starfish Ward at Watford Hospital. This is the children's ward, which is close to our school's heart and a number of children from our school have been treated there. We know it can be a hard place for children to be and so we wanted to help make their time in hospital a better place.
We raised £250 pounds from selling tickets at our middle school production of Jack and the Beanstalk. The Starfish Ward will use this money to buy toys & games for the children in the hospital.
We presented the cheque in a special assembly. The voucher was presented by children who took part in the production and Mr Taylor.
