Football Match

On Tuesday night, Chambersbury played against Hammond Academy.  In the first half, Chambersbury went 2-0 up through some astounding team play but then disaster struck and Hammond scored a very flukey goal at half time leaving the score at 2-1.

At the start of the second half Hammond equalised and then Chambersbury scored again. Then Hammond equalised again with two minutes to go. All seemed lost.  Raman, our keeper, put the ball down and lobbed it to Kian who scored a last minute winner for Chambersbury.  It was agonisingly close and, in the end, the score was 4-3 to Chambersbury.  Mr Swift said that the match "reached a fitting ending".

The players that scored were Harrison, Hayden, Azan and Kian and the assists were Seb (x3) and Louie.
