Adventure Stories

We have been studying how to write an adventure story. We looked at The Tunnel by Anthony Browne and drew inspiration from the story structure and the characters. The got to understand the main structure of an adventure story: 

  1. Introduction
  2. Build up 
  3. Problem 
  4. Resolution 
  5. Solution

We then wrote our own adventure stories. We changes the characters, the settings and the 'tunnel' element of the story. We really enjoyed writing these stories and were even able to read them to Reception class. Here are some of our own stories:   
**Please do not park vehicles on the grass verges or in front of the gates on Chambersbury Lane.** Keep our children SAFE!!**
