Year 5/6 Football vs Bovingdon

Year 5/6 Football vs Bovingdon

The school football team went and played Bovingdon Academy recently.  It was their first "real" football match of the year (they had played before but this one was competitive!)  The team was almost an equal split of Year 5s and 6s.  We had 9 boys and 1 girl to play.

Before playing Mr Yoxall went over some of the things we had talked about in our training.  Then we were playing the match.  Bovingdon scored first but we scored pretty quickly after that.  Archie and Kian were playing in the middle and were passing the ball a lot to Hayden and Ethan who were up front.

We scored 5 goals in the end and won 5-2!

Well done to the team for the win.

(Note from Mr Yoxall:  Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of this game but we will be getting them in the future!  So look back for more reports of the games.)

Ofsted 2017 - Chambersbury is a "GOOD" school. "Pupils are very proud of their school"...."the learning environment both inside and outside is bright and thought-provoking"...Pupils say the school is 'like a family'. Read the full report in the Ofsted section of this site.
