Tuesday

Tuesday:

Try-A-Sport Sessions

On Tuesday we ran Try-A-Sport sessions for our students.

The purpose of this was to introduce them to sports or skills which they may not have tried before.  We ran a wide range of activities including boccia, parachute games, hockey. tennis, speed stacking and baseball.

All our pupils seemed to really enjoy the morning and the chances it gave them to try different sports to the usual football, cricket etc.

"On Tuesday we went on the field and tried a lot of sports like baseball with Mr Yoxall.  We also did some speed stacking with Mr Maher and there was a game where we had to throw four balls in the middle of a parachute and and get it through the parachutes hole.

We played boccia and everyone played hockey with Mr Swift and we had a little hockey tournament.  Team A won but Team C came last unfortunately but we had a lot of fun.  It has been the best except for Sports Day.  Tennis was really good too, we LOVED IT!!!  My favourite activity was the baseball."

As you can see by the photos there were a lot of smiles that day!
