Spring 1 - We're EVOLVING!

The Theory of Evolution is discussed during this half term term as we focus on Darwin and his journey on HMS Beagle.  We will study how fossils are made and how scientists use these to see what plants and creatures were like a long time ago.  The children will plot his journey using maps on the internet and using atlases to study the places he visited.  Clearly, the class will look at how animals and plants have adapted to their environment and how food chains work.  They will be writing biographies about people who have shaped our lives.
