Source to Sea (Summer)

In this term we'll be exploring the course of a river from source to sea and the importance of water for plant and human life. In English and Topic we'll be studying the water cycle, creating explanation writing pieces, looking at poetry linked to river themes and making our own. In ICT we'll be learning to use Google earth/maps to explore a river from source to sea and creating animations of the water cycle. In French children will be talking about the weather and exploring the Seine. In Art & Design children will be depicting water through collage, oil pastels and weaving. In PE and PSHCE we'll be exploring healthy living by being active and eating well.
