Year 5 and 6 Football vs Brockswood

Before we kicked off we did a passing drill.  Then we got underway with the first half.  We got off to a slow start with them chipping the ball over the helpless Raman.  But we didn't let this get to us and we bounced back with some lovely build up play then Archie slotting the ball past the keeper.  Later Liam passed it into Kian who bobbled it into the back of the net.

Unfortunately, very soon after we scored, Raman came out and palmed the ball down in the box straight to a Brockswood player.  They then side-footed the ball past Hayden, who was on the line (and who ended up on his bottom trying to clear the ball!)

That was all in the first half.

In the second half we were the better side with Kian scoring another two goals with a bit of luck.  We battled hard to keep the scoreline the same, but there were some scary moments trying to do this.  Then the final whistle went and the scoreline was 4-2 to Chambersbury.
